Position Overview

We are seeking an Associate Application Developer to join our team in developing network automation applications for the Federal Reserve System. In this role, you will apply DevOps methodologies and CI/CD practices to build self-healing infrastructure applications that minimize manual operations across our enterprise network and security platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement network automation applications that enable self-healing infrastructure capabilities
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and operations of network and security platform applications
  • Reduce manual operational overhead through intelligent application development across the Federal Reserve System's infrastructure
  • Develop and monitor infrastructure health metrics through custom applications to optimize network performance and stability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to deliver robust automation applications
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and continuously expand technical expertise in network automation and infrastructure development

Required Skills & Qualifications

Programming & Application Development

Work Environment

  • The following Reserve Bank locations are preferred due to the concentration of System IT team members in these locations: Boston, Richmond.


Salary: 70,880 - 106,200

The listed salary is applicable to the 1st District (Boston Fed). Final offers are determined by factors including the candidate's qualifications, internal alignment considerations, district assignment, and geographic location.
