As the Associate AI Business Analyst, you will serve as the crucial translation engine between our business stakeholders and the technical AI team! Sitting within the IT organization, you will turn broad business problems into clear, actionable requirements for production machine learning and document intelligence systems. You will conduct discovery interviews across various departments, assess data readiness, and quantify business value to ensure our AI initiatives drive real enterprise transformation. What You Will Do: - Conduct structured discovery interviews across Legal, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Product, and IT to surface AI use cases and capture critical pain points
- Translate complex business needs into technically actionable requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for data scientists and engineers
- Document current-state workflows, evaluate decision logic, and map proposed future-state processes that successfully incorporate AI and machine learning components
- Assess data readiness by identifying required data sources, data owners, system gaps, and quality issues essential for planned AI initiatives
- Quantify the expected business value of AI projects in terms of time savings, cost avoidance, and operational efficiency while defining clear KPIs to measure outcomes
- Support proofs of concept and pilots through rigorous user testing, feedback collection, and launch readiness validation before broader rollout
- Partner cross-functionally to coordinate multi-stakeholder projects, track risks, and produce executive-ready summaries that drive leadership decisions

What We Are Looking For:- 0 to 2 years of experience in business analysis, operations analysis, consulting, product operations, or digital transformation
- Proven ability to interview cross-functional stakeholders, elicit clear requirements, and translate business needs into technical specifications
- Exceptional data literacy and analytical reasoning skills with a high comfort level for tackling data-heavy business problems and evaluating data quality
- Strong working proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including pivot tables, lookups, and complex dataset structuring
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adjust tone and depth across technical, business, and executive audiences
- A highly curious, adaptable, and structured thinker who thrives in ambiguous, early-stage problem spaces and takes full ownership of project outcomes
Nice To Have:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Operations, Engineering, or a highly related field
- Prior experience in the consumer products, toy, retail, supply chain, or e-commerce industries
- Foundational understanding of core Machine Learning (ML) and Large Language Model (LLM) concepts
- Working familiarity with SQL, BI platforms (Sigma, Power BI, Tableau), and project management tooling (Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, Lucidchart)
- Familiarity with enterprise systems (ERP, WMS, POS, CRM, DAM, PIM) and Agile project methodologies

What We OfferThe salary range for this position is $75,840 - $91,740 / Yr. The base salary may vary based on experience, role tenure, performance, industry, and location. Eligibility for the annual performance incentive may apply. Jazwares is a multi-state employer, so the salary range may not apply to other states.
