This role will contain a unique opportunity to work on both the Finance and Operations teams and get involved in all middle and back-office functions of the funds. Role will be much broader than a standard accounting role and include treasury, capital call and distribution execution, investment closing support, valuation support, automation, and various other operational functions.

What You'll Do:
  • Review quarterly and annual fund NAVs, capital account allocations, and partners' capital account statements across Galaxy's venture capital and closed-end fund products.
  • Manage the capital activity lifecycle - calculate and issue capital call and distribution notices, and track limited partner commitments, contributions, distributions, and unfunded balances.
  • Manage fund cash, expenses, and treasury, including funding of portfolio company investments and coordination of closing mechanics.
  • Prepare the quarterly Schedule of Investments and assemble valuation committee materials, coordinating with third-party valuation providers on portfolio company fair value marks under ASC 820.
  • Calculate and review management fees, carried interest, and distribution waterfalls in accordance with each fund's limited partnership agreement.
  • Assist with product development, fund launches, and the formation of SPVs and co-investment vehicles.
  • Work with internal legal/compliance and the fund administrator, respond to investor inquiries, and support Operational Due Diligence sessions.
  • Maintain investment-level records across the portfolio, including cost basis, follow-on rounds, conversions, warrants, and realizations.
  • Monitor compliance with limited partnership agreements and side letters, including limited partner reporting obligations and information rights.
  • Coordinate the annual audit and tax process with fund administrators, auditors, and tax preparers, including review of partner K-1s.
  • Provide support to Galaxy's liquid hedge fund products as needed, including NAV review and other operational work.
  • Embrace and champion the thoughtful adoption of AI to improve team performance and business outcomes.
  • Leverage AI tools (e.g., generative AI, automation platforms, data copilots) to improve productivity, decision-making, and output quality in your day-to-day work.

What We're Looking For:
  • 3-7 years of experience with a strong background in accounting
  • Experience with venture capital, private equity, or other closed-end fund accounting, including capital calls, distributions, and capital account allocations
  • Experience coordinating with third party fund administrators
  • Experience in managing audits of closed-end fund structure
  • A working knowledge of limited partnership agreements, including management fee, carried interest, and waterfall provisions
  • Familiarity with fair value measurement (ASC 820) for level 3 illiquid, privately held investments

Bonus Points:
  • CPA preferred
  • Experience in digital assets/crypto currencies
  • Experience with venture-stage instruments such as SAFEs, convertible notes, token warrants, and direct token investment

About Galaxy Digital LP

Galaxy Digital was a radio station broadcasting through the digital platform across the United Kingdom and was owned by Global Radio. It primarily broadcast in areas where Galaxy was not represented on FM, such as London, Leicester, Nottingham, and Derbyshire. It also formerly broadcast in Central Scotland, until the relaunch of Xfm Scotland as Galaxy Scotland, at which point Galaxy Digital on DAB was replaced with a relay of Xfm London. The digital station was a 'sister' radio station to the local Galaxy Network services in various areas. The digital service was broadcast largely from the Galaxy Yorkshire studios, and much of the content networked across the group came from this location. Since Monday 21 January 2008, Galaxy Digital was changed from its own dedicated service to broadcast almost entirely as a direct relay of Galaxy Yorkshire, though the 'Across Yorkshire' on-air tagline was replaced by 'Across the UK' on the digital service.. Since Friday 21 March 2008, the radio station changed their 'Passion for Music, Passion for Life' strap-line slogan to 'Love Music' ; the tagline changed again in 2010 to "The UK's Number One Hit Music Station" in preparation for the impending Capital relaunch.
