What you will be doing:
  • Develop and influence global sourcing and supplier strategies for Own Brand products.
  • Recommend product sourcing locations and target costs using market insights, cost models, and supplier capabilities.
  • Lead Strategic Sourcing Events, Requests for Proposal (RFPs), and Requests for Quote (RFQs) with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and cost-management agreements with domestic and global suppliers.
  • Manage sourcing projects from planning through supplier selection, award, and implementation.
  • Own commercial relationships with domestic suppliers following the award of business.
  • Manage supplier relationships, communicate standards, and resolve product quality, safety, and operational issues.
  • Collaborate with global teams to improve product costs, supplier performance, supply continuity, and risk mitigation.
  • Monitor raw material, labor, overhead, production, and supply chain cost trends to identify savings opportunities.
  • Use proprietary cost-modeling and procurement tools to support fact-based sourcing decisions and continuous improvement.
  • Provide clear project updates, recommendations, risks, and results to stakeholders and executive leadership.


What You Bring to the Table:
  • Experience supporting global sourcing strategies that align core capabilities with global risks and short-term supplier needs.
  • Understanding of contract structures, key terms and conditions, legal considerations, and their role in supplier relationships.
  • Analytical capabilities to assess agreements, support contract execution, and negotiate details with suppliers.
  • An understanding of cost-model trends and the capacity to recommend cost-management actions using data-driven insights.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to achieve favorable business outcomes.
  • Ability to collaborate with Global Sourcing, Quality, Product, stakeholders, and suppliers across multiple organizational levels.
  • Sharp and effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and organizational levels.
  • Proficiency with procurement and procure-to-pay systems, such as Coupa, ePAS, or similar platforms.


What's needed: Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of procurement, strategic sourcing, or related experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field.
  • Professional certification, such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP).
  • Experience with procurement software and ERP systems.
