What you will enjoy doing*
• You will oversee all production & distribution activities for plants as well as all distribution for internal shuttles throughout the markets
• Responsible for safety and compliance (internal Linde standards, FDA, Federal, State, & local regulations for the region.)
• You will manage Safety, Productivity, Lean & Six Sigma Initiatives
• Achieves productivity goal through formalized methods like Six Sigma, Lean & Kaizen
• You will create and manage operational plans that result in the accomplishment of Linde objectives
• Coordinates and facilitates activities and commitments with Sales (Area Managers, General Sales Managers, and Branch Operations Manager) as well as other departments
• Ensures strategies are appropriately formulated and communication plans are provided
• Establishes goals, promotes decision-making, delegates as appropriate and overcomes obstacles.
• You will coordinate operations and project work with corporate functions including logistics, engineering, human resources, and finance.
• Takes a leadership role in creation and oversight of productivity optimization
• You will work with strategic independence, conferring with Senior and Executive Management on more complex assignments
• Monitors trends, develops procedures, and takes actions that set precedents
• You are responsible for hiring excellence and maintaining appropriate staffing at Plant Manager level
• Staff, train, coach, and administer performance reviews, salary increases and corrective action of subordinate employees
• You will ensure compliance with all applicable internal and external standards
What makes you great
• BS degree required (Engineering degree preferred)
• You have 10+ years cylinder gas operations experience required
• You have 5+ years cylinder gas engineering / project management required
• Leadership skill mandatory
• You have interpersonal skills
• Effective Change Agent
• You are an ambassador to Linde
• Lean and or Six Sigma certified
• You are willing to travel to Midwest area of East Region at least 50% - 60% of the time

Pay Range: $125,475-$140,000
