Full Job Description
Our client is seeking an Assistant Vice President to join its Asset-Backed Securities (ABS) platform. This professional will support origination and client coverage efforts across a broad range of ABS asset classes, including esoteric sectors. The role will partner closely with senior bankers, credit professionals, and risk teams to evaluate transactions, perform corporate and financial analysis, and support client relationship management.

  • Support origination and execution activities across a variety of ABS asset classes, including esoteric asset sectors.
  • Conduct detailed corporate and credit analysis of issuers and counterparties.
  • Analyze quarterly and annual financial statements to assess creditworthiness and identify key risks.
  • Partner with front-office banking teams and risk professionals to evaluate transaction structures and financing opportunities.
  • Assist with client coverage efforts across a large portfolio of ABS clients and prospective issuers.
  • Prepare credit memoranda, transaction analyses, market updates, and presentation materials.
  • Work closely with first-line-of-defense bankers to support underwriting and portfolio monitoring.
  • Evaluate transaction performance, collateral quality, and structural features of securitization transactions.
  • Collaborate with product control, risk management, and other internal partners throughout the deal lifecycle.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in ABS, structured finance, securitized products, credit analysis, or corporate banking.
  • Strong understanding of securitization structures and capital markets.
  • Experience analyzing financial statements and corporate credit profiles.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within a bank ABS, structured finance, or securitized products platform.
  • Exposure to both origination and risk management functions.
  • Knowledge of esoteric ABS asset classes.
  • Strong Excel and financial modeling skills.

The annual full time base salary range for this role is
$135,000.00 - $160,000.00

Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies. All full time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
