YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:Reporting to the Energy and Infrastructure Superintendent, you will support in the follow-up of multidisciplinary teams responsible for the maintenance of critical infrastructure, including buildings, an 800 person camp, electrical & instrumentation for surface, underground and mobile, HVAC systems, boilers, fuel systems, power plants, water treatment and sewage treatment plants (WTP, STP), incinerators, compressors, and more. You will work in close collaboration with members of all departments at the mine site. You are responsible in supporting the establishment of a facilitative work environment, including the ongoing empowerment and development of the entire team. You will also play a significant role in best practices and quality control management of your sector of activity while ensuring the goals and objectives are achieved and promoting Agnico Eagle's values, as well as its Health & Safety Code of Conduct and environmental commitments.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED- Technical education or background in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a General Supervisor or General Foreman role, or 10 years of experience leading and managing large teams.
- Proven experience managing multidisciplinary and diverse workforces.
- Demonstrated experience in budget planning and departmental economic management.
- Experience overseeing remote camp and/or kitchen operations is considered an asset.
- Experience supervising tradespeople and operational teams within a mining environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop team members; formal coaching experience or training is considered an asset.
- Collaborative and facilitative leadership style, focused on empowering employees and fostering professional growth.
- Ability to motivate teams while promoting the mission, vision, and values of Agnico Eagle and the Meliadine E&I Department.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
- Cultural awareness and an understanding of working in the Canadian Arctic are considered assets.
- High level of availability and commitment to operational requirements.
- Strong desire to learn, combined with a genuine passion for talent development and leadership growth.

Your Work Schedule:- Schedule: 4 days of work, followed by 3 days for transportation and rest;
- Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides charter flights to and from the mine site and may accommodate to cover other travelling expenses.
