The Assistant Resident Engineer will work closely with the Resident Engineer and Project Manager to oversee construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and timelines.
Salary Range: $135,000-$150,000Project Start Date: July 1, 2026Project Duration: 24 monthsFull-time, on-site position. Responsibilities- Assist the Resident Engineer in daily site management and inspection activities.
- Review and maintain project documentation, including daily reports, inspection logs, RFIs, and submittals.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project milestones are met.
- Support the resolution of technical issues and construction challenges.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in preparing project reports and documentation for audits and closeout.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in construction engineering or similar roles, preferably on transit/transportation projects
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and quality control.
- Familiarity with construction management software such as Procore or Primavera P6 is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work effectively on-site and collaboratively in a team environment.
