ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGER

Position Overview
Rockhill Management, L.L.C. ("Rockhill") is searching for an Assistant Property Manager to support the management of a class-A office tower. This role reports into the Senior Property Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Ensures the building operations are upheld in a Class "A" manner and conducts daily inspections of building common areas and construction sites.
  • Assist in the preparation, distribution, coordination and implementation of budgets, financials, audits, reporting, contract bidding, budget tracking, capital tracking, etc.
  • Process accounts payable
  • Process accounts receivable and prepares manual adjustments for all tenant service requests, including meter readings, and other tenant bill backs as per the lease
  • Manage all lease set-ups, abstracting and manual adjustments as needed
  • Set up vendors, including obtaining current W-9's from all vendors
  • Assure technological advancement of support systems while maintaining budget guidelines
  • Assist with construction projects/contractor relations
  • Assist with tenant event reservations and building community events in line with property goals and budget
  • Maintain compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Other tasks as needed


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of experience in commercial real estate
  • Advanced written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to exercise judgment and decision-making skills with a high level of professionalism
  • Critical thinking and ability to solve complex problems
  • Self-starter and multi-tasking abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, MRI, Yardi or other similar accounting systems

Location
The position is based primarily at 75 State Street in Boston, MA.

Annual Salary Range
The annual salary for this role is expected to be in the range of $80,000 - $100,000 and is determined by several factors, including but not limited to, experience, education, and expertise.
