Snapshot of Your Day

In this role, you help drive day-to-day project execution, ensuring schedules, budgets, and customer commitments stay on track. You support core project management activities including planning, forecasting, risk and change management, and leadership reporting, while maintaining financial ownership for assigned scopes. Working cross-functionally, you help align resources, manage costs, capture lessons learned, and reduce nonconformance costs. You also build strong technical knowledge of GIS, AIS, and switchgear products to support effective decision-making and successful project delivery.

How You'll Make an Impact
  • Support and lead project execution activities to ensure delivery against established timelines, customer expectations, and financial objectives.
  • Contribute to core project management functions, including schedule development, budgeting, risk assessment, change and opportunity management, forecasting, and recurring reporting to leadership.
  • Maintain profit and loss (P&L) accountability for assigned project scopes and deliverables.
  • Capture, document, and communicate project-specific lessons learned while actively driving reductions in non-conformance costs (NCCs).
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to define project outcomes, allocate resources, and manage project budgets and schedules.
  • Continuously expand technical knowledge of GIS, AIS, and general switchgear product portfolios.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of project management experience, preferably supporting substation projects.
  • Experience with process improvement, quality management, and collaboration within global or cross-regional teams preferred.
  • Foundational knowledge of GIS/AIS, Balance of Plant (BoP), and switchgear products is a plus.
  • Strong communication, leadership, collaboration, and customer-facing skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% domestically, with occasional international travel.
  • Ability to relocate to Raleigh, NC if not currently local (relocation assistance provided).
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with existing visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfer.
