Job Title: Assistant Project Manager - Solar Construction (Per Diem Included)

Job Location: Fremont, UT

Job Type: Full-time

Pay Rate: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year + Per Diem

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will work directly alongside our Project Leadership to drive key performance indicators (KPIs) across safety, project delivery, and customer satisfaction. You will serve as a central operational liaison, balancing field schedule management, equipment utilization, and project documentation to keep our utility-scale solar build moving forward efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Project Leadership in overseeing job site functions, monitoring 3-week look-ahead schedules, and prioritizing daily field requests.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for field crews to optimize equipment availability and movement.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, job site records, shift hours, and client communication updates.
  • Help identify operational efficiencies to manage costs without sacrificing project safety or quality.
  • Support problem-solving on-site by analyzing complex construction challenges and turning them into direct action plans.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year in a construction managerial, field coordination, or Project Engineer role.
  • Proficiency in scheduling and estimating tools; experience with MS Office, Google Workspace, and Oracle Primavera preferred.
  • Prior experience with solar, utility, or electrical infrastructure is strongly preferred (though non-electrical candidates with strong civil/construction backgrounds are encouraged to apply).
  • Ability to read and interpret paper and digital construction drawings/blueprints.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred.
