Location: San Jose, CA Full-time, 100% onsite Summary Therma is seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager to join our growing mechanical construction team. In this role, you will partner closely with a Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale commercial, industrial, and healthcare projects. This position plays a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities • Support the Project Manager in all aspects of project delivery from budgeting and scheduling to procurement, construction, and closeout. • Assist with reviewing and maintaining project documentation, including contracts, drawings, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress reports. • Coordinate with internal departments, subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, and clients to ensure clear communication and collaboration across all project phases. • Track project costs, labor productivity, materials, and schedules; assist in forecasting and reporting. • Participate in project meetings, site visits, and inspections to ensure work is performed safely and in accordance with company and regulatory standards. • Support field teams in managing subcontractors and vendors to maintain quality control and meet project objectives. • Help identify and resolve potential risks or conflicts proactively to keep projects on schedule and within budget. Hourly Compensation: $35-$42. Notes: Actual compensation will be based on skills, experience, and work location, and may vary from the posted range.
