Department: PediatricsJob Title: Assistant ProfessorJob Summary:This is a full time Assistant Professor position in the University of Colorado, Department of Pediatrics, Section of Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine at the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, Children's Hospital Colorado.We are seeking a dynamic, patient-centered, board certified/eligible pulmonologist to be a part of our expanding and dynamic program. This candidate also holds scholarly and academic activities in high regard and seeks research opportunities in their area of interest. Key Responsibilities:
• Outpatient clinical care
• Inpatient, Consult and Outpatient Consultative service
• Bronchoscopies, laryngoscopies, PFT
• Clinical and translational research
• Engage in scholarly activities to include publishing, grant writing, presentations at national and international conferences, etc.
Work Location: Hybrid - this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of an indeterminate number of days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings.
Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Assistant Professor:- MD/DO
- Board certified for board eligible in Pediatrics.
- Must be licensed or able to obtain licensure in the State of Colorado prior to start date.
Condition of Employment:- Must successfully pass a drug test through Children's Hospital Colorado
- Must be willing and able to pass a national criminal background check

Preferred Qualifications:- Board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Pulmonology
- Prescriptive Authority
- Experience and proficiency with electronic medical health record systems
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge appropriate for individuals completing a three-year Pediatric Pulmonary Fellowship.
Ability to complete pediatric pulmonary diagnostics and therapeutic procedures.
Pediatric clinical assessment skills.
Strong commitment to teaching and mentoring responsibilities.
Strong interpersonal communication skills including both written and verbal.
Exceptional time-management skills (to include managing email and other electronic forms of communication.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary group.

HIRING RANGE:Assistant Professor: $190,600 to $203,087
