Description
Faculty Position - Assistant Professor
The Center for Neuroethology and Physiological Plasticity (https://medicine.yale.edu/neuroethology-physiological-plasticity/) and the Department of Cellular and Molecular Physiology (https://medicine.yale.edu/physiology/) at Yale are conducting a faculty search at the assistant professor level.
The Center harnesses the extraordinary adaptations of specialized vertebrate organisms to uncover fundamental biological principles driving the plasticity and resilience of neurophysiological, metabolic, sensory, and reproductive systems-principles with relevance to human health, aging, and therapeutic innovation that would remain hidden in conventional laboratory models.
We seek creative investigators whose research program aligns with the Center's mission. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying sensory processing, neural and physiological plasticity, metabolic regulation, or reproductive physiology.
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent degree.
