SUMMARYThis role is primarily responsible for reviewing and overseeing accounting and reporting related duties for Welltower partnerships and operator relationships.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Lead a team of 2-3 accountants
- Review financial information received from various operating partners
- Manage the flow of operating partner financial information throughout the organization
- Communicate and facilitate accounting initiatives with operating partners
- Review intercompany transactions and monitor balances for proper elimination
- Analyze monthly financial results from operating partners
- Review journal entries and monthly internal controls
- Approve monthly cash distributions to operating partners

TRAVEL Minimal travel is expected for this position
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - Bachelor's degree in accounting is required
- Work experience of at least six years
- Knowledge of accounting theory, including GAAP and IFRS, is required
- Professional certification of CPA or equivalent is strongly desired
- Familiarity with real estate and international experience is a plus
