WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Assistant Manager, Field Operations & Analytics provides key sales analysis, reporting and project management support to the HMA National Sales Operations department. This individual is also tasked to implement and maintain sales department reporting databases utilizing SAP software and other HMA databases such as CAARS and DPM. This assistant manager position also requires a high level of proficiency in Tableau & Excel reporting, with knowledge of VBA, complex formula development, and data automation strongly preferred. The assistant manager will interact regularly with HMA Regional Offices in support of all National and Regional sales programs, reports and systems. The assistant manager will also prepare regularly scheduled (and ad hoc) sales reports for HMA management and executive level customers, as well as final monthly national sales reporting for HMA.


HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Primary responsibility for month-end sales reports, including requirement to support extended hours during month-end close:
    • MTD, QTD, and CYTD Reports
    • Sales Report to PR
    • HMC Report (Retail & Wholesale)
  • Primary responsibility for day-after month-end sales reports:
    • YTD Sales by Dealer/Model
    • YTD Sales by Fleet/Retail
    • Aged Inventory Analysis
    • Sales Flash Deck Preparation
  • Primary responsibility for standard department reporting:
    • Performance Engagement Program (PEP) Report
    • Market View Report
    • Weekend Business Reporting
    • Aged Inventory Analysis (standardized and ad hoc)
    • Ad hoc sales reporting and analysis
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    • Regional support on Hyundai programs and sales reporting
    • Sales objectives management (monthly production of objectives, distribution to the field, and SAP input)
    • Project management for enhancements to sales tools and programs.
    • System development, using independent judgment, problem identification, and finding solutions are all expected in this position.
    • Program approvals and budget decisions are ultimately approved by the department Director and/or Division Head.


WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Must be a high school graduate.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Master's Degree a plus.
  • Five or more years of relevant experience, preferably in Automotive Retail and Wholesale.
  • Project Management experience desirable.
  • Demonstrated high-level analytical experience and skill set.
  • Should have demonstrated an ability to uncover sales trends (or similar business metrics) during career.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Proficiency in Tableau and dashboard building.
  • Proficiency in SAP database management and data extraction.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
  • High level analytical skills.
  • Must be capable of multi-tasking, setting priorities and scheduling work activities with minimal supervision.
  • Able to resolve problems, think analytically and critically, and communicate professionally in high pressure, time sensitive environments.
  • Must be a team player, yet still demonstrate a strong interest and curiosity in improving existing processes


WHAT HYUNDAI CAN OFFER YOU

  • Compensation Range: $75,400 - $104,000
  • Monthly Hyundai/Genesis vehicle lease allowance (including insurance and maintenance)
  • Holiday Pay - the company shuts down with pay between Christmas and New Years.
