Position Overview

We are seeking an Assistant General Manager focused on operational excellence and committed to elevating both the guest and employee experience. This hands-on, hospitality-driven leader plays a key role in daily operations, leading on the floor with warmth, professionalism, real-time coaching, and active feedback. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is required.

Responsibilities

  • Uphold brand and service standards while driving sales growth and cost control
  • Ensure exceptional guest experiences; resolve issues and convert challenges into loyalty
  • Lead and develop front-of-house teams through coaching, feedback, and performance management
  • Oversee shift execution, scheduling, floor plans, and daily operational decisions
  • Maintain cleanliness, uniform standards, and a polished restaurant environment
  • Support the General Manager with financial reporting, invoices, payroll, and administrative responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and company policies
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of senior management experience in an upscale or fine dining environment
  • Extensive fine dining and front-of-house experience (Forbes training a plus)
  • Strong understanding of financial performance and cost control
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Stable and progressive work history with a strong work ethic
  • Graduate of an accredited hospitality or culinary program is a plus
