Salary Range: $100k - $115k

WHAT OUR ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGERS DO:- Control day-to-day operations by scheduling, ordering, and developing restaurant team members
- Support profit & loss management by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports, and taking appropriate actions
- Recruit, interview, and hire staff, motivate and train team, and take disciplinary actions, as needed
- Ensure fully staffed, fully trained, and fully performing location
- Oversee and adhere to local health and safety codes, as well as company-wide safety and security policies
- Follow the preventative maintenance program for facility, equipment, appliances, fixtures, etc.
- Lead a culture of safety and promote a positive working environment
- Drive the company goals and objectives for creating a best-in-class guest experience
- Support the General Manager in addressing guest reviews and ensuring exceptional guest experiences
- Maintain and ensure all products are consistent with company quality standards and recipes
- Partner with and complete timely execution of marketing initiatives
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE AN ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER:- Flexibility to work in either DC, MD or VA
- Experience in high volume restaurants, with a minimum of one to two years preferred
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations
- Robust financial aptitude in respect to business operations
- Passion for hospitality
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds, as needed
- Capable of continuous bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, and use of hands and arms
- Ability to lead and develop a team
- Be caring, self-motivated, and exhibit an aptitude for leading, coaching, and driving excellence
- Hospitality degree preferred
