Key Accountabilities: - Provide leadership and supervision to field staff through on-site work planning and day-to-day direction, while managing staff performance and spending over 60% of time in the field
- Maximize safe well production and facility throughput by working closely with Production Foreman, Maintenance Foreman, SCC Coordinator, Technical and Administration teams to maintain runtime performance of over 97% from wellhead to sales
- Provide leadership, knowledge and direction to field staff towards Canadian Natural's Safety Management Systems
- Participate in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual operating budgets, while maintaining cost control for your area
- Maintain effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
What You Bring to the Role: - 10+ years of field experience in an operational, maintenance or technical role
- Production Field Operations Certificate (required)
- Working knowledge of safety standards and environmental regulations
- Proven leadership experience in a supervisory or mentorship capacity, with strong communication skills
- Proven project management skills in planning, preparations and execution
- Knowledge of fundamentals of oil and gas economics
- Power Engineering, Engineering degree, Technology diploma or Journeyman certification (preferred)
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification (preferred)
