Overview

Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE

 

The position will lead and develop the team(s) to meet various obligations required for power generation at a Pattern Energy operating site.

 

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  •  Lead the use of maintenance documentation, reporting tools and performance systems necessary for reporting and performance improvement.
  • Provide hands-on technical support and supervision for generation equipment
  • and power delivery systems, as well as with other facility civil work, building maintenance and upkeep.
  • Enable teammates’ ability and awareness to work safely and stop work as required. Support driving the injury-free workplace culture by facilitating safe work habits, hazard recognition, risk assessment, peer to peer feedback, and
  • proper use of human performance tools.
  • Manage site specific and corporate procedures, policies, training programs, safety programs and work practices and related updates as required.
  • Balance and support facility public relations and community interactions.
  • Maintain regulatory compliance with all Federal, state and local regulations and associated permits. Ensure obligations are met using the CMMS.
Qualifications

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION REQUIRED

 

 

Required Work Experience

 

  • Supervision and technical experience in the power generation industry or related fields. Proficient with computers and with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and maintenance.

 

Education

 

 AA degree in business or a technology-related field, or equivalent experience 

 

Additional Requirements

 

 

  • Must reside within 60 miles of the facility’s O&M building.

 

 

Candidates must be willing and able to work with high workloads in stressful, physically demanding settings while maintaining professional, non-confrontational behavior and demonstrating the utmost ethical values. Examples include, but are not limited to, traveling, participating in medium- and high-voltage switching, grounding, and O&M, working in harsh temperatures and extreme driving conditions, working various 24/7 hours, and supporting other business units and locations as needed.

 

 

 

The expected starting pay range for this role is $90,000 - $112,0000 USD. This range is an estimate and base pay may be above or below the ranges based on several factors including but not limited to location, work experience, certifications, and education. In addition to base pay, Pattern’s compensation program includes a bonus structure for full-time employees of all levels. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, life insurance, voluntary benefits, family care benefits, employee assistance program, paid time off and bonding leave, paid holidays, 401(k)/RRSP retirement savings plan with employer contribution, and employee referral bonuses.
