Estimated compensation for this position is: $80,000 - $95,000

What this job involves:

JLL is seeking an experienced Assistant Facilities Manager with advanced expertise in soft services management, operational coordination, and client relationship support. This position is ideal for facilities professionals looking to elevate their career by taking on strategic coordination responsibilities while maintaining hands-on oversight of essential facility services. As our Assistant Facilities Manager, you'll oversee housekeeping, janitorial, reception, catering, landscaping, and other soft services operations while serving as a key support to the Facilities Manager and client liaison. You'll report directly to the Facilities Manager and collaborate closely with vendors, service providers, and internal teams to drive operational excellence, service quality, and client satisfaction across the portfolio.

What your day-to-day will look like:
  • Oversee housekeeping, reception, landscaping, catering, mail services, and waste management operations
  • Build client relationships, respond to feedback, and support service reviews and planning sessions
  • Assist with service assessments, vendor evaluations, and portfolio-wide standards implementation
  • Support budget development, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Manage vendor performance through inspections, audits, and relationship building
  • Ensure regulatory compliance, monitor performance metrics, and maintain operational documentation
  • Guide staff and vendors while promoting service quality and cross-functional collaboration


Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years facilities management experience focused on soft services coordination
  • Experience managing housekeeping, janitorial, reception, catering, and landscaping services
  • Strong vendor management skills including service agreements and performance monitoring
  • Budget support experience including cost tracking and financial analysis
  • Proficiency in maintenance management systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to conduct facility inspections and travel between properties
  • Valid driver's license and availability for on-call rotation


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field
  • Professional certifications (CFM, FMP, IFMA, or service management credentials)
  • Portfolio or multi-site facilities management experience
  • Background in commercial office environments, corporate campuses, or hospitality operations
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and environmental compliance standards
  • Client-facing experience with demonstrated relationship management skills
  • Strategic thinking with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
