The Assistant Director oversees the day to day operation of the department(s). This includes assistance with supervision of all personnel of procedures, ordering of supplies and equipment, and managing the schedules.
Responsibilities: Excellent organization and communication skills; able to work well in a fast paced environment; able to handle multiple priorities at one time; able to supervise multiple areas
Education:
Required: Academic degree in nursing required.
Preferred: Master's degree in nursing or related field (Health Administration, Business, Public Health, or management).
Experience: Required: 2 Years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment as a manager or full-time charge nurse/related position
Certifications/Registrations/Licenses: Required: Must be currently licensed, certified or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy. CPR
