Summary: The Assistant Director of Security is responsible for the oversight of the safety and security of the hotel. This position reports to the Director of Hotel Facilities and assists with the daily leadership of the Security Department, including team supervision, incident response, investigations, emergency preparedness, access control, and safety compliance.
Qualifications:Qualifications- Prior hotel security leadership experience required; luxury hotel experience preferred.
- Strong judgment, communication, documentation, and de-escalation skills.
- Ability to lead a team with fairness, consistency, and accountability.
- Knowledge of incident response, investigations, emergency procedures, and safety standards.
- NYS Security Guard License preferred or ability to obtain as required.
- FDNY Fire and Life Safety Director certification preferred.
- Flexible schedule required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
