Assistant Director of Revenue Management

Responsibilities

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
  • Support room inventory and pricing strategies: Assist in managing group and transient inventory-including rate controls, blackout dates, and sellout strategies-to optimize revenue.
  • Support revenue optimization: Assist in evaluating key metrics, historical data, and market trends to refine pricing strategies and contribute to optimizing profitability
  • Perform forecasting and market analysis: Support demand forecasting, monitor competitive activity, and track the impact of conventions and events on occupancy and rates
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Reservations, and Front Office to support revenue-maximizing initiatives.
  • Support department operations: Participate in daily revenue functions, facilitate meetings, and ensure smooth execution of revenue management processes.
  • Inspire and develop the team: Train, supervise, and mentor team members; conduct performance evaluations, provide professional development opportunities, and recognize achievements to build an engaged and high-performing team
