Qualifications

• Current State RN license required
• Minimum 3 years experience in Long-Term Care settings
• 2 years of management experience preferred
• 1 year of staff education experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills required
• Basic leadership and supervision skills required
• Flexibility in scheduling is necessary

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing with management tasks and quality of care maintenance
• Conduct weekly Wound/Skin Rounds
• Ensure compliance and effective communication among nursing staff
• Meet the nursing medical needs of all residents
• Be on-call for 24 hours
• Coordinate and direct planning for nursing services
• Maintain knowledge of nursing theory and practice
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of medical records
• Assist in hiring and training new nursing staff
• Oversee daily staffing processes
• Manage infection control practices
• Adapt work schedule to unexpected needs
