Qualifications

• Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing setting.
• At least 2 years of nursing management experience preferred.
• Previous experience in staff education or training preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and supervisory abilities.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing Services with managing nursing operations.
• Conduct weekly wound and skin rounds to ensure quality care.
• Support compliance with regulatory standards and promote team communication.
• Ensure residents' nursing and medical needs are promptly met.
• Participate in a 24-hour on-call rotation as part of the leadership team.
• Coordinate planning and delivery of nursing services effectively.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of nursing practices and regulations.
