Qualifications

• Extensive HVAC and mechanical experience required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• 3-5 years of hotel engineering experience preferred.
• Previous experience in a convention service hotel preferred.
• Experience managing a team of 5 or more.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Engineering Services in maintaining preventative maintenance logs and scheduling projects.
• Support procurement of supplies and issuance of purchase orders.
• Review and prioritize work orders for timely completion.
• Maintain accurate inventories of energy and maintenance supplies.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and coordinate staff activities on shift.
• Take full responsibility for the Engineering Department in the Director's absence.
• Understand and ensure compliance with fire alarm procedures and emergency evacuations.
• Familiarize with Omni's Systems and Service procedures.
