Essential Job Duties

This position supports the football program's creative content efforts through video, photography, graphic design, and social media. The role works closely with coaches, recruiting staff, and creative team members to develop and produce content that supports program communication, recruiting initiatives, fan engagement, and brand consistency across a variety of platforms.

In this role, you will:
  • Assist with the creation and production of content for the football program across video, photography, graphic design, social media, web, video boards, and other external-facing platforms.
  • Contribute to content planning, creative development, and distribution efforts while maintaining awareness of industry trends and best practices.
  • Support day-to-day and game-day content operations, including coverage of practices, workouts, team travel, and pre-, in-, and post-game activities.
  • Collaborate with coaching and recruiting staff to produce content that supports team communications, recruiting initiatives, and program objectives.
  • Organize, manage, and archive creative assets to ensure effective storage, accessibility, and long-term maintenance.
  • Assist in the development of presentations and creative materials for internal and external audiences and support other special projects as assigned.
  • Coordinate and monitor the workflow of student creative interns, including project assignments, deadlines, and ongoing guidance.
  • Comply with all applicable NC State University, NCAA, and ACC rules, regulations, and policies.

This position requires a strong foundation in creative content production, attention to detail, effective project management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced collegiate athletics environment. As a successful candidate you will demonstrate sound technical skills, professional judgment, and the ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines while supporting the communication and recruiting objectives of the football program.

Qualifications

Minimum Experience/Education

High school diploma or equivalency and two years of visual/graphic arts experience related to the area of assignment; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience working in athletic visual/video/graphics design or related areas
  • Experience in an athletic department
  • Knowledge of football recruiting
  • Understanding of NCAA rules and regulations
