Full Job Description
Position Summary

This position provides direct oversight and management support within Clinical Operations group practices for the delivery of patient care services including: Patient Recruitment and Registration, Patient Scheduling, Staff Training/cross-training and onboarding training, policies and procedures for Clinical Administration. Provide direct management oversight of pre-doctoral academic administration and monitoring of many aspects of the pre-doctoral student's education. Create and implement written policies, protocols, procedures and standards for all Clinic Operations and Administration to ensure compliance with state regulations. Assist Clinical Administration with appropriate planning and execution of internal assessments and reviews of patient financial records to support patient care compliance for billing and revenue cycle management. Assists with the development of appropriate patient recall strategy to support patient centered care recruitment and clinical revenue cycle strategy.

Qualifications

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Education:
Master's Degree healthcare administration

Required Experience:
5+ years relevant management experience in a healthcare setting or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Experience:
3+ years experience in a large dental clinic operation. Knowledge of dental terminology, diagnoses and understanding of multiple treatment modalities

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Ability to problem solve, multi-task and effectively communicate with healthcare providers and patients. Possess excellent organizational skills and be patient service oriented.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Familiarity with Article 28 and related health protocols. Evaluation and detailed understanding of trends within the dental/medical community.

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $88,325.00 to USD $108,325.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
