Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team and ensure key performance indicators are met.
  • Provide crisis support across all levels, including preventive and acute situations.
  • Implement strategies and interventions as per guidelines from Critical Intervention Specialists.
  • Consult with multidisciplinary professionals including psychiatrists and psychologists.
  • Participate in clinical training sessions.
  • Facilitate interdisciplinary planning meetings.

Full Job Description
Position: Assistant Director

Location: San Diego, CA

Reports to: Program Director

Employment Status: Full-time, Exempt

Salary: $85,805.34 + opportunities for quarterly bonuses

Who You Are:
  • Must hold a Bachelor's Degree (Master's Degree is preferred)in Psychology, Human Services, Counseling, Social Work, Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, etc..
  • Must have a California Driver's license in good standing and insurance.
  • Preferred experience with the Developmentally Disabled population is a bonus!
  • Experience in a leadership position is preferred.

The Job:
  • Team management, responsible for meeting key performance indicators, stakeholder engagement, outreach, succession planning, and engaging in professional development.
  • Provide support to individuals in crisis; preventative, acute, or chronic crisis management.
  • Implement Strategies and Interventions developed by CBEMs Critical Intervention Specialist (CIS) using the Behavior Skills Training model.
  • Consult with a Psychiatrist, BCBA, and Psychologist.
  • Participate in clinical trainings
  • Participate and/or facilitate Interdisciplinary planning meetings.
