OverviewSupport Finance Controller in managing financial operations of the GBU and ensure compliance with policies as well as maintaining the integrity of financial processes. Prepare monthly and year-end closing activities, journal entries, reconciliations and financial reports.
What You’ll Do:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and issue accurate and timely monthly and annual financial reports for internal and corporate use, supporting the monthly forecast.
- Finance Oversight: Oversee finance activities, including cost accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger activities and potentially payroll.
- Compliance: Ensure robust internal controls and documentation to comply with financial regulations and group policies. Assist with internal and external audits.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the annual budget preparation and reporting, developing tools for future use. Monitor performance against the budget and provide variance analysis.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare or ensure the preparation of reports required by regulatory agencies.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to provide insights into financial performance, trends, and variances. Assist in financial modelling and scenario analysis.
- Team Management: Supervise and mentor finance staff. Provide guidance and support for their professional development.
- Ad-hoc Projects: Assist with special projects and analysis as needed, including system implementations and process optimizations.

What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or CPA certification is a plus.
- Experience in financial reporting and control, ideally within a multinational manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience (typically 5-8 years) in accounting or finance roles, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to advise on Finance and control matters.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
