Full Job Description
In this role you will:

Be responsible for supporting the Corporate Controller in managing the company's accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining internal controls, assisting with budgeting processes, and ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies.

Compensation is based on experience, education, certifications, leadership experience, and relevant accounting background.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and all applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the compensation calculations for multiple physician practices to ensure accurate compensation of physician shareholders.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and support internal and external audit processes.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including variance analysis.
  • Support the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Maintain, evaluate, and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls over financial reporting.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop junior accounting staff.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and accounting system implementations.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills while supporting departmental objectives.
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with Finance leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Assure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and accounting standards.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

About You:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
  • CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
  • Public accounting or corporate finance experience is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
  • Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
  • Self-driven and self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

We Would Love It If You Also Had:
  • CPA certification.
  • Healthcare or multi-entity accounting experience.
  • Experience leading accounting process improvements or ERP implementations.
  • Previous experience supervising or mentoring accounting professionals.
