The Boeing Company is seeking an
Assistant Chief Pilot Production Manager to join our team in
Seattle, Washington.
This position will be a first line Manager with direct hires that will oversee production and flight operations.
Position Responsibilities:- Operates aircraft and manages test pilots performing aircrew duties, including activities to prepare for and conduct safe test flight operations; applies crew resource management principles to the operation of aircraft
- Performs and manages activities to plan, conduct and evaluate ground and test flights
- Leads aircrew activities to support design efforts. Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
- Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops, trains and evaluates test pilots
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):- The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. a7 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee
- Bachelor of Science degree or higher
- Commercial Certificate or FAA ATP with appropriate endorsements
- Experience leading and managing a team
- Experience do you have with Project Management or similar activity
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):- Skilled in advising and influencing managers or non-management employees to meet schedules or resolve technical or operational problems
- Directly participates in establishing and administering multiple projects
- Develops and administers budgets, schedules and performance standards
- Manages large or complex teams of managers and or non-management employees (typically at the professional level)

Shift:This position is primarily for 1st shift; however, alternate and/or weekend shifts may be required to meet support program objectives.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $316,20 - $427,800
Entry into this classification is limited to candidates approved by the enterprise-wide Flight Operations Skills Team. Appropriate regulatory certification and/or license required.
