Description

We are seeking a faculty member with expertise in Neurourology to join our Division of Lower Urinary Tract Dysfunction and Reconstruction (LUTDR), and advance our clinical, research, and educational missions. This position will be based primarily at Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut.

The candidate will also have the unique opportunity to practice at the Adams Neurosciences Center, a new clinical facility dedicated to the comprehensive care of patients with neurological disorders. This setting will facilitate multidisciplinary collaboration and provide opportunities to develop innovative clinical and research programs at the intersection of urology and neuroscience. There are additional opportunities for collaboration with faculty across Yale School of Medicine and Yale New Haven Health System who share complementary clinical and research interests.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to clinical and academic excellence with the focus on outstanding patient care and innovation. An active interest in research is a requirement of the position, with opportunities to pursue and expand clinical, translational, or population-based research programs aligned with the candidate's interests and expertise. Research areas of particular interests includes neurogenic bladder, bladder innervation, and bladder physiology. Dedicated laboratory space and protected research time will be available for qualified candidates.
