The Department of Chemistry, Yale University, New Haven, CT invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor level rank to commence as early as July 1, 2027. We seek creative teacher-scholars to teach inspiring courses and develop outstanding research programs in organic chemistry broadly defined.
Qualifications
Must have met the requirements for a PhD or equivalent degree at the time of hire in Organic Chemistry or a related field.

Materials required for applications at all ranks include a cover letter, curriculum vitae, and a teaching philosophy statement. Applications at the ranks of Assistant Professor should request three confidential letters of recommendation to be submitted on their behalf through Interfolio and provide a future research plan prefaced by a single-page summary, consisting of up to three proposals. Applicants for tenured positions are only asked to provide a research statement summarizing their current research program, and funding sources.
