Full Job Description
Position Title: ASSET VERIFICATION ENGINEER - FLORENCE, KY

Salary: $125,000 - $130,000

Pay Grade: 15

Other Forms of Compensation: BONUS

Job Summary

The Asset Verification Engineer is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of asset data across a manufacturing facility. This role supports operational readiness, maintenance optimization, and capital planning by validating physical assets against system records (CMMS/EAM), conducting field audits, and establishing standardized asset hierarchies and documentation.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct field verification of mechanical, electrical, and production equipment assets
• Validate asset data against CMMS/EAM systems
• Identify and document discrepancies
• Maintain asset naming conventions and hierarchies
• Support asset tagging initiatives
• Update CMMS records and validate equipment documentation
• Support commissioning and asset handover processes
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams
• Assist in asset criticality development
• Generate reports on asset verification progress

Required Qualifications
• 3-5+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
• Familiarity with CMMS/EAM systems
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with commissioning or capital projects
• Knowledge of reliability engineering (RCM, FMEA)
• Experience with RFID/barcode tracking
• Technical degree preferred
