Position Summary:The Asset Services Specialist will work within the Corporate Actions and Operations Tax Reporting team to ensure the complete and accurate processing of events for the firm's affiliates that clear and custody their US trading activities with DCMA. The role also includes liaising with internal and external departments/partners with respect to business process improvement that enhance and improve the client experience at DCMA. Reporting to the AVP, Corporate Actions Specialist, you will be an integral part of the Asset Services team and overall Operations department.
Core Responsibilities:- Update the corporate actions applications and to reflect voluntary and mandatory distributions and other events that are announced.
- Ensure accuracy and timely communication to clients, while following the established protocols and processes of the firm.
- Monitor and analyze upcoming corporate actions, processing events in accordance with established procedures and systems, determining entitlement, and processing related financial transactions.
- Work with data and serve as a business analyst to produce and roll out automations within the corporate actions team and other areas of Operations.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution.
- 5+ years' related experience within Operations, Asset Services, Corporate Actions required.
- Experience with voluntary corporate actions required.
- Technical skills, specifically data management, analysis, and automation.
- Series 99 preferred.
- Required to work in the New York office 5 days per week for the first 90 days of employment, and then 3-4 days per week after full training is completed.

DCMA has a hybrid work program in place, with opportunities for remote work depending on the nature of the role and needs of your department. This was implemented to provide operational efficiency while simultaneously giving employees flexibility. At a minimum, employees are expected to work in the office three days per week.
