The Impact you will have in this role:

Being a member of the Asset Services Product Management Team, the Associate Director will be responsible for commercial strategy, business management, revenue reporting, market trend analysis, and revenue growth activities across the broader Asset Services business line. This role will support business planning, product commercialization, client adoption, ecosystem engagement, pricing analysis, and revenue opportunity identification across Asset Services, not limited to Corporate Actions.

The Associate Director will help build a clear view of the Asset Services landscape, including Corporate Actions, Underwriting, Eligibility, Issuer Services, Custody, Inventory Management, securities lifecycle processing, and related market infrastructure services. The role will pair commercial insights, third-party ecosystem intelligence, and client feedback to identify where DTCC can reduce market friction, improve client outcomes, expand adoption, and create new revenue opportunities.

In addition, the Associate Director will work closely with other members of the department, Finance, Sales, Relationship Management, Operations, Technology, Enterprise Services, Legal, Risk, clients, industry groups, and third-party market participants to translate market needs and business opportunities into actionable product and commercial plans.

Your primary responsibilities:
  • Support the broader Asset Services commercial strategy by identifying, assessing, and tracking revenue growth opportunities across the full Asset Services product suite, not limited to Corporate Actions.
  • Develop and maintain revenue reporting, business performance dashboards, volume trends, pricing insights, and commercial opportunity tracking for the Asset Services business line and prepare executive reporting materials and strategic recommendations.
  • Partner with Finance, Product, Sales, and Relationship Management to support annual business planning, revenue forecasting, pricing reviews, product-level financial analysis, and multi-year growth planning.
  • Analyze market trends, client needs, industry developments, regulatory changes, competitive dynamics, and emerging market structure themes that may create new opportunities or risks for Asset Services.
  • Build a strong understanding of the end-to-end Asset Services landscape, including Corporate Actions, Underwriting, Eligibility, Issuer Services, Custody, Inventory Management, Redemptions, Distributions, Proxy, Class Actions, and securities lifecycle processing.
  • Support commercialization efforts for new and existing Asset Services capabilities, including client adoption strategies, product positioning, value propositions, pricing considerations, and go-to-market planning.
  • Identify and evaluate third-party ecosystem participants that may influence or complement DTCC's Asset Services strategy.
  • Pair market intelligence with commercial analysis to identify where DTCC can reduce friction, improve client outcomes, expand adoption, generate new revenue, or strengthen its role in the securities servicing lifecycle.
  • Conduct directed research and analysis to support environmental assessments, including macroeconomic trends, regulatory landscape, legal or legislative changes, customer behavior shifts, market modernization efforts, and emerging technology adoption.
  • Partner with internal teams to synthesize client feedback, industry working group themes, survey results, and market outreach into clear insights, commercial recommendations, and executive-ready summaries.
  • Create business case documentation for new revenue opportunities, product enhancements, pricing changes, service expansions, and market modernization initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver future-state product and service capabilities across Asset Services.
  • Contribute to customer facing and internal communications, including Important Notices, FAQs, press releases, newsletter articles, fact sheets, presentations, and commercialization updates.
  • Monitor product and revenue performance against business objectives, identify risks or execution gaps, and elevate key issues.
  • Support pricing and fee-related analysis.
  • Help define and track key performance indicators, including revenue growth, volume trends, product adoption, client engagement, operational efficiency, exception reduction, and market adoption.
  • Contribute to industry engagement efforts with clients, issuers, agents, vendors, trade associations, utilities, regulators, and other market stakeholders.

Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of related experience in financial services, product / business / revenue management, commercial strategy, market infrastructure, securities services, capital markets, or related fields.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Talents needed for success:
  • Experience with Asset Services, Corporate Actions, issuer services, settlement, custody, securities processing, market infrastructure, or post-trade operations supporting revenue analysis, business planning, pricing reviews, product performance reporting, market research, or commercial opportunity assessment
  • Strong commercial mindset and analytical skills with the ability to identify revenue opportunities, interpret revenue trends, product performance, client behavior, market data, business and drivers. client value drivers, and market growth themes
  • High intellectual curiosity and ability to quickly understand complex products, market structure, ecosystem participants, and securities lifecycle processes.
  • Ability to create executive-level reporting and communicate insights clearly, concisely, and persuasively
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to work across business functions
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and helping shape new areas of business focus
  • Advanced experience with the Microsoft 365 and functional knowledge of business AI tools and Power BI preferred

The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations. Actual salary is determined based on the role, location, individual experience, skills, and other considerations.
