Full Job Description
Summary: We are seeking an experienced IT Asset Manager to oversee the administration of IT inventory, asset management, and technical service contracts. This role is crucial for maintaining software license information, developing enterprise-wide IT purchasing standards, and ensuring compliance with corporate and legal guidelines. The IT Asset Manager will collaborate with Finance and Legal departments and is responsible for evaluating and implementing asset management systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the administration of IT inventory, asset management, and technical service contracts.
  • Maintain and update software license information.
  • Work with the Manager of IT Procurement to develop enterprise-wide IT purchasing standards and procedures.
  • Create and manage asset management systems and serve as liaison to Finance and Legal departments.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate and legal guidelines for managing IT hardware and software assets.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement asset management systems for all IT technical assets.
  • Provide support to the Finance department by managing physical inventory control.
  • Define requirements for asset acquisition, management, and disposal strategies.
  • Prepare asset budgets, coordinate with IT Procurement on purchase orders and invoice processing, and reconcile inventory changes.

Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of business experience in asset management, finance, procurement, or service contract management.
  • Proven experience in managing and mentoring teams, including supervisors and technical staff.
  • Strong project management skills, capable of leading complex projects.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, frequently reporting to senior management.
  • Experience working as a subject matter expert and project leader.
