Role Overview:This role is for an AS/400 SYNON Technical Lead, responsible for technically guiding a team of 3-4 resources in the design, development, and unit testing of applications. The position requires strong proficiency in Modern RPG with robust DB2 concepts, emphasizing project execution and effective customer interaction within an Agile project delivery framework.
Key Responsibilities:- Technically lead a team of 3-4 resources.
- Design, code, and unit test requirements.
- Establish connections with customers to understand project requirements and successfully execute the development phase.
- Design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements.
Required Skills:- Core Technical Skills: Modern RPG, SYNON, OS/400, DB2/400.
- Development & Design: Application design, development, and configuration; Coding and unit testing.
- Leadership & Delivery: Experience leading a team (3-4 resources); Project execution knowledge; Customer interaction and requirement understanding.
- Methodology: Agile development.
Qualifications:- 8-10 years of experience in relevant technologies.
- Proficient in Modern RPG with strong concepts of DB2.
- Familiarity with Agile mode of project delivery.
Preferred Skills:- Onshore/offshore experience.
- PBM experience.
