Position Overview We are seeking a full-time
Arts & Production Manager to oversee the creative design, layout, and production processes for our monthly magazine publication and a variety of branded marketing materials. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for a highly organized and experienced creative professional who thrives on deadlines and enjoys managing both the artistic and logistical aspects of visual production.
Key Responsibilities - Magazine Production: Manage the design, layout, and advertisement updates for a monthly print publication from concept through delivery
- Creative Direction: Develop and maintain a consistent visual identity across all materials, including publications, advertisements, and promotional content
- Project Management: Plan and execute production timelines, especially during the 10-day high-output period prior to monthly publication deadlines
- Team Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with editors, sales staff, and external contributors to gather content and deliver cohesive, on-brand designs
- Quality Assurance: Review all design and layout work for accuracy, consistency, and print readiness
- Marketing Support: Design supporting materials for digital campaigns, social media, events, and internal communications
- Production Oversight: Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest visual standards
Qualifications - Print production, or creative project management
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Strong portfolio showcasing layout and branding work, preferably for magazines or print publications
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage tight deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with print production workflows and prepress file preparation
- Must be able to commute to Tulare, CA for in-office work as needed
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
