Position Summary:We are seeking a professional and service-oriented
Access Control & Concierge Security Officer to provide front-line security and guest services, This role blends security responsibilities with concierge-level customer service, ensuring the safety and satisfaction of all guests, employees, and vendors while maintaining site integrity and access protocols.
Key Responsibilities:Access Control & Screening:- Monitor and control access points for employees, guests, and vendors.
- Screen all entrants for proper identification, credentials, or authorization badges.
- Verify access authorization for restricted or sensitive areas.
Visitor & Vendor Documentation:- Maintain accurate logs of visitor and vendor entry/exit activity.
- Issue visitor badges or passes according to company policy.
- Report any unauthorized access attempts or irregularities.
Concierge Duties:- Provide directions and general property information.
- Serve as a primary point of contact (POC) for internal staff and facilities teams.
- Escort authorized individuals to restricted or secured areas as needed.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments, such as maintenance, facilities, and management, to coordinate support services.
Minimum Qualifications:- Must be Active or Retired Law Enforcement or Military with a background in Security or Military Police.
- Possess a valid California Guard Card issued by the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS).
- Active California CCW
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Basic computer and report-writing skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience in concierge, access control, or front desk security roles.
- Prior experience in residential, commercial, or corporate office environments.
Physical Requirements:- Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods.
- Must be able to walk short distances, occasionally escorting individuals across site premises.
- May occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
Work Environment:- Typically stationed at lobby/reception areas or secured access points.
- Indoor work environment with regular communication via phone, radio, or intercom systems.
- May include exposure to high foot traffic and frequent interaction with the public.
