OverviewJob DescriptionOur canine group, under Allied Universal® Enhanced Protection Services, is hiring a Program Manager. The Program Manager oversees and supports the program that provides comprehensive Firearms Detection Canine services within the San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle and New York areas for a high profile customer. The Program Manager will be responsible for managing all Allied Universal® Enhanced Protection Services personnel supporting the program and will be the primary Point of Contact and follow all rules and regulations required by the Client.
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for the Client and liaison with MSA Management
- Ensure timely resolution of staff performance issues, including adherence to policies and procedures, tardiness, absence and / or violation of the Customer's policies and procedures
- Ensure contract operations are executed in a professional manner, in adherence to all policies and procedures
- Ensure all handlers are adhering to the expectations of the client as well as MSA policies and procedures; develop and implement performance improvement plans; monitor employee performance, administer disciplinary action up to and including making decisions to terminate employment
- Manage and monitor employees to ensure all contract compliance requirements are met; design and implement internal audit and recordkeeping process
- Review TTPs (Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures) for security enhancements and submit recommendations for improvement
- Coordinate staff scheduling of assigned personnel and resolve scheduling conflicts
- Generate security metric reports of activity by week, month, quarter, and year or as assigned by the Client; reports shall include number of alarms, alarm severity, alarm/incident status and alarm resolution; metric reports shall be provided to the Customer on a regular basis and as requested by the Customer
- Understand and report on KPI's as requested by the Customer
- Create and track monthly and quarterly financial reports and ensure accuracy
- Attend periodic meetings with the Customer to discuss ongoing contract performance, KPI's reporting metrics, and other topic areas as designated by Client
- Work closely with the facilities staff to be aware of facility issues, maintain knowledge of the infrastructure
QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):- Minimum of four (4) years of experience as a canine handler with MSA Security
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience in law enforcement or military operations in a supervisory/management-level position
- Excellent communications skills, both oral and written
- Capable of delegating tasks and from time to time meet with stakeholders along with the General Services Administration
- Demonstrate proficiency with conflict resolution techniques
- Ability to collaborate with other departments to fulfill business needs
- Ability to evaluate program effectiveness and ensure operation efficiency and quality control
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):- Prior experience managing projects and/ or customer accounts
- Completion of an MSA Firearms Detection Canine Handler course
- Bachelor's degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies
- Eight (8) or more years of service in any military branch or law enforcement agency

PAY: $90k to $95k per year
