Full Job Description
The salary range for this role is $185,400.00 to $231,700.00. The range may vary if the role outside of this location. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate's experience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.

Position Summary

At Pernod Ricard USA, we have accelerated and transformed our organization around experiences of conviviality, placing the consumer at the heart of our business model. The Area Vice President, RTD & Convenience will lead the strategic direction, commercial delivery, and route-to-market execution for the RTD & Convenience portfolio across Pernod Ricard USA. Reporting directly to the DVP General Manager, GEM, this role is accountable for accelerating profitable growth, strengthening customer and distributor partnerships, expanding market opportunities, and building the capabilities required to win in RTD and Convenience.

The role will be responsible for developing and executing a high-impact growth agenda for RTD & Convenience, with a strong focus on winning in the Convenience channel, expanding distribution, strengthening customer and distributor partnerships, and accelerating profitable growth. This role requires close collaboration with National Accounts, Brand Teams, Commercial Marketing, S&OP, distributors, and key external partners to ensure PRUSA brands outperform the category and drive share growth.

Operating as a senior commercial leader within the GEM organization, this position will translate the broader business ambition into a focused RTD & Convenience growth strategy, building scalable execution models and ensuring the portfolio is supported with the right capabilities, tools, and market focus to deliver sustainable growth.

The successful candidate will bring a strong general management mindset, exceptional commercial acumen, and the ability to balance strategic leadership with operational execution. The role requires executive presence, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders across a highly matrixed environment.

What You'll Do

Commercial Performance & Business Delivery
  • Own the annual operating plan for RTD & Convenience from strategy through execution.
  • Deliver revenue, volume, market share, profitability, distribution, availability, and velocity objectives.
  • Monitor category, channel, customer, state, and brand performance against market and competitive benchmarks.
  • Utilize analytics, dashboards, and performance management routines to identify risks, unlock opportunities, and drive action plans.
  • Establish and cascade clear objectives and key results to ensure alignment and accountability.


Route-to-Market & Market Expansion
  • Lead the development of scalable route-to-market solutions that enable growth and execution excellence.
  • Evaluate opportunities to strengthen distributor engagement and expand market coverage across priority customers and geographies.
  • Partner with distributors to improve execution, promotional effectiveness, merchandising, and portfolio focus.
  • Identify and implement new ways of working to improve commercial effectiveness and customer impact.
  • Support the development of resource models, tools, and processes that enable business growth at scale.


Customer, Retailer & Channel Leadership
  • Build and strengthen senior-level relationships with key convenience customers, retailers, distributors, and channel partners.
  • Partner with National Accounts and customer teams to develop integrated customer and channel plans that drive category growth and strengthen customer partnerships.
  • Improve execution at the chain level through broader distribution, enhanced visibility, and stronger customer engagement.
  • Develop customer-centric selling solutions that drive profitable growth while strengthening brand equity.
  • Ensure innovations and key activations are launched successfully within customer planning timelines.


Innovation & Portfolio Leadership
  • Partner with Brand Directors, Global RTD teams, Commercial Marketing, S&OP, and Supply Chain teams to bring innovation to market successfully.
  • Ensure innovation plans are rooted in consumer, shopper, and customer insights and are executable within the Convenience channel.
  • Align forecasts, customer authorizations, and production timelines to support successful launches and portfolio growth.
  • Continuously optimize portfolio strategy to maximize consumer relevance and commercial return.
  • Develop compelling portfolio sell stories that support customer engagement and execution excellence.


Team Leadership, Coaching & Capability Building
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team with a strong focus on collaboration, accountability, inclusion, and performance excellence.
  • Build capabilities across the broader commercial organization to strengthen RTD & Convenience expertise and execution.
  • Establish clear priorities, performance expectations, and operating rhythms that enable team success.
  • Foster an entrepreneurial mindset and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Serve as an active contributor to the Commercial Leadership Team, providing strategic perspective and leadership across the organization.


RTD & Convenience Strategy Development
  • Contribute to the development and evolution of the RTD & Convenience strategy, ensuring alignment with PRUSA commercial priorities and long-term growth ambitions.
  • Create a clear go-to-market roadmap rooted in shopper, consumer, customer, and channel insights.
  • Identify opportunities to accelerate growth within the Convenience channel through distribution expansion, enhanced velocity, customer programming, and e-commerce activation.
  • Continually optimize route-to-market strategies and portfolio sell stories to strengthen competitive advantage.
  • Partner with Brand Teams, Global RTD teams, Commercial Marketing, and external agencies to develop market-relevant plans, programs, and platforms.


Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • MBA or advanced business degree preferred.
  • Minimum 12+ years of progressive experience in consumer goods, beverage alcohol, spirits, or a related industry.
  • Minimum 5 years in senior commercial leadership roles, including Director, Senior Director, or Vice President level positions.
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing growth strategies that deliver sustainable and profitable results.
  • Deep experience in route-to-market strategy, distributor management, customer development, channel strategy, and commercial planning.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders across a highly matrixed organization.
  • Strong track record of building high-performing teams and developing talent.
  • Experience in RTD, Convenience, National Accounts, distributor management, or beverage alcohol strongly preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
