Full Job Description
AbleLight is currently hiring an Area Vice President for our Oregon Market.

In this position, the Oregon market leader will focus on quality services and growth in the delivery of services for the people we support based on their needs. Creates an environment that attracts and retains the talent needed to deliver exceptional services in a fiscally responsible way. Partners with external stakeholders such as community, government, and business leaders to achieve these results. In addition, partners and collaborates with internal functions to fully meet the needs of those we support and achieve strategic objectives.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a Business or Clinical field, required.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in a health care related field with a distributed model is essential with demonstrated results of driving rapid growth, meeting/exceeding business objectives, high level of quality and service to those you support and creating an environment that attracts and retains talent.
  • Must reside in or near Portland, OR
  • On-Site in the programs with travel per business needs.
  • The ability to travel frequently across the Oregon market based on the needs of those we support, our employees and strategic growth is required.
  • Ability to lead and manage the work of other employees and has the responsibility for hiring, coaching and managing performance to ensure high levels of performance and retention.
  • Expertise and ability to lead the creation execution of strategic plans, and goal setting for the business in collaboration with executive leadership that include growth of markets.
  • Effective as a leader by being an example and helping others demonstrate these behavioral competencies in their work and reaching their full potential.

  • Full accountability for the day-to-day operations of all services delivered within the market for those we support.
  • This includes quality of care, experience of the services, financial responsibility, strategic growth, and hiring and retaining the right talent.
  • Responsible for building and leading plans around the quality of service provided and partnering with individuals we support and parents/guardians to ensure the voice of those we support is met and exceeded.
  • As a leader of teams and individuals, aligns the passion and talents of others to serve the people we support by actively developing others, empowering teams, promoting collaboration, removing barriers, achieving results, showing recognition and appreciation to attract and retain diverse talent.
  • Ensures an environment where everyone can thrive.
  • In full partnership with operational leadership, human resources, quality and nursing, each employee has engaging onboarding, training, and on-going development experiences resulting in a high level of retention and attraction.
  • Maintains a strong and collaboration working partnership with all colleagues, leadership, PWS, and parents & guardians to achieve our balanced scorecard results.


Growth:
  • Participate in the strategic and fiscal planning process for and accountable for the growth and strategy plans for their individual market.
  • In collaboration with operational land functional leaders, subject matter experts and corporate partners, develops plans that grow our residential services and achieves our balanced scorecard results.
  • Ensures standard AbleLight operating procedures are followed to scale growth and achieve quality.
  • Accountable for building the annual budget and multi-year strategic and financial plan to support the existing services and expansion and growth in their market.
  • Builds strong relationships and partnerships with key external stakeholders such as community leaders, governmental agencies, business leaders, and supporters of AbleLight to enhance and grow services.
  • Stays on top of trends related to innovative practices, business changes, and technology advances across all industries to influence and ensure the right innovative practices are considered as part of the strategy.
  • Keeps up to date on local, state, and federal compliance expectations.
  • Maintains a focus on metrics and budget to positively support area and state business results.
