Full Job Description
We are looking for highly qualified and motivated individual to join our leadership team as a New Homebuilder Area Sales Manager for the Central Florida region. This is an opportunity to lead a dynamic sales team while driving business performance and cultivating strong relationships with homebuyers, Realtors, and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership and Management
  • Lead, recruit, train, and mentor sales teams to meet company sales goals and deliver top-tier customer service.
  • Manage and supervise sales team members, providing guidance and feedback to improve performance and personal growth.
  • Monitor traffic, conversion, and referral rates, ensuring sales quotas are met and company objectives are achieved.
  • Stay up to date on product knowledge, competitive analysis, and market trends to provide guidance and recommendations to the sales team and company leadership on sales strategies.
  • Maintain the integrity and accuracy of sales data and ensure it is consistently updated in company systems.
  • Manage model homes, inventory and sales offices, ensuring they are maintained, furnished, and properly staffed.
  • Ensure the implementation and adherence to the company's selling strategy.
  • Oversee and assist in the development of sales presentations, training programs, and strategies to advance the sales team's strengths, overcome objections and close sales.
  • Provide input into the development of sales tools, collateral and strategies in collaboration with other departments, including Design Center, Marketing, and Operations.


Customer Relationship Management
  • Promote strong relationships with brokers, Realtors, and other partners to generate leads and drive sales.
  • Oversee homebuyer interactions to ensure a positive experience from initial contact through closing and beyond.
  • Handle homebuyer issues promptly and professionally, coordinating with internal departments and external partners, including lenders and contractors, to resolve any concerns.
  • Participate in new community planning including model selections, home features, and overall design strategies based on customer feedback and market trends.


Team and Talent Development
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, providing constructive feedback to sales team and setting clear, achievable goals.
  • Lead regular sales meetings, reviewing performance, traffic reports, market trends and sales tools.
  • Coordinate and conduct training programs to improve the selling skills and product knowledge of sales team.
  • Implement staffing strategies to ensure sales teams are adequately staffed at all times, and sales goals are being met consistently.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative and motivating environment where the sales team is encouraged to excel.
  • Develop and maintain an organized and efficient work environment to optimize team performance.


Strategic Planning and Market Insight
  • Establish short- and long-term sales goals and strategies.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, competitive activity, and market trends to leadership.
  • Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales methods, costs, and results to drive business decisions.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to streamline operations.
  • Ensure all required documentation for sales transactions, including contracts and change orders, are completed accurately and in compliance with company standards.


Community and Industry Engagement
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and community meetings, promoting the company's brand and services.
  • Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including Realtors, vendors, and partners, to generate leads and drive sales.
  • Work with local Homeowner Associations, resolving any community-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Attend trade shows and networking events to maintain a strong knowledge of industry trends and competitor activity.

  • Ability to travel occasionally for training and business needs.
  • Experience with competitive analysis and creating strategic sales plans is a plus.


Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum 25 pounds at times to handle network hardware installation and maintenance.
  • Ability to travel to multiple office and project locations for network setup, troubleshooting, and support when necessary.
  • Occasional availability outside of regular business hours for system updates, maintenance, or critical issues.
