Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Production Management or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 7 years in manufacturing, specifically machining and assembly operations.
• Broad knowledge of manufacturing and quality principles with familiarity in labor-intensive operations.
• Strong supervisory skills in managing a diverse workforce.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing management and Enterprise Resource Planning systems.
• Familiarity with employee relations and collective bargaining issues in varied environments.
• Fluency in English and applicable languages for the area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage manufacturing costs, quality, and production methods.
• Plan production schedules and technical requirements for operations.
• Expedite production, resolving delays and initiating corrective actions.
• Coordinate operations-related programs including cost reduction and maintenance.
• Administer compliance with company rules, regulations, and policies.
• Participate in the budgeting process and monitor performance against it.
• Assist in selection and acquisition of capital equipment for production.
