Airgas was founded in 1982, and acquired by Air Liquide in 2016. The company operates through two segments: Distribution and Production. The Distribution segment offers a wide range of industrial, medical and specialty gases, as well as hardgoods and related products, to customers in various industries, including manufacturing and health care. The Production segment offers nitrogen, oxygen, and argon gases for use in steelmaking, welding, and other industries.
