As the
Area Kitchen Manager (Area Chef de Cuisine), you'll be responsible for overseeing operations for multiple locations across a market. You'll ensure that every aspect of our service, execution, and team performance reflects the high standards and vision of goop kitchen. You'll lead with purpose, drive consistency, and cultivate a people-first culture rooted in excellence and innovation.
This role requires a seasoned leader who excels in scaling systems, leading teams, and delivering consistent, high-quality results in a fast-paced, modern food environment.
You'll Be Responsible For- Mult-unit Leadership: Lead and hold your Managers accountable across your market, ensuring the full customer journey-from digital ordering to delivery-aligns with goop kitchen's brand standards and commitment to clean, elevated service at every location.
- Team Performance & Culture: Build and lead a high-performing team of managers and service professionals. Foster a culture of accountability, support, and continuous growth.
- HR & Staff Management: Oversee staffing operations across your locations, including hiring, onboarding, scheduling, performance management, labor compliance, and required documentation. Partner with HR to ensure consistent and compliant execution of people-related processes.
- Standards & Training: Develop, implement, and maintain operating procedures and service standards that deliver consistency, hospitality, and operational excellence across all locations in your market.
- Operational Execution: Ensure seamless coordination between all departments and locations. Drive consistency, timing, and efficiency throughout the order fulfillment process market-wide.
- Tech-Enabled Service: Use customer feedback, delivery platform data, and internal reporting tools to drive performance, troubleshoot issues, and improve processes.
- Brand Representation: Uphold goop kitchen's high standards for aesthetic, cleanliness, professionalism, and thoughtful service in all market locations.
- Metrics & Accountability: Own market-level KPIs including customer satisfaction, order accuracy, labor efficiency, and team productivity across all locations. Use data to inform decisions and improve outcomes.
Requirements
- At least 3-5 years of experience leading restaurant or service operations in multi-unit, high-performance environments
- Proven track record in building and developing strong teams and scaling operations
- Deep understanding of operational systems, compliance, and process excellence
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and labor law compliance
- Experience with delivery-first or digital food concepts is a plus
- Strong analytical and financial acumen, including labor planning and budget oversight
- Passion for clean, high-quality food and modern hospitality
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and coaching skills

Salary Description
$95,000 - $105,000
