You and your Area Medical Director will jointly lead the Clinic Managers and Lead Doctors to ensure our teams thrive and deliver outstanding care. Reporting to the Vice President of Clinic Operations, you'll play a key role in improving our company-level fundamentals across medical quality training, team development, member experience and operational excellence.

This role requires a leader who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on leadership. You'll spend 90% of your time in clinics across your region, with occasional travel to other markets. Nights and weekends may be required to support your teams.

  • Partner with veterinarians and medical leaders to maintain the highest standards of care.
  • Act as a communication bridge between clinics and the broader organization.
  • Lead talent planning to create a pipeline of future leaders and ensure clinics are staffed with top talent.

Operational Excellence + Balanced Results
  • Ensure consistent, reproducible results across our 4 commitments: Medical Quality, Team Engagement, Member Experience and Profitable Growth.
  • Drive leading performance indicators across your leadership teams, with mastery of productive schedules, comprehensive care and a culture of development and coaching.
  • Oversee your regions' scheduling and staffing strategy to maximize efficiency and utilization.
  • Drive performance by focusing on key inputs that impact clinic success, including membership growth and appointment optimization.
  • Own P&L accountability for your clinics, ensuring financial goals are met or exceeded.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of new processes, systems, and initiatives.

Clinic Growth & New Openings
  • Support end-to-end clinic openings, from staffing to operational readiness.
  • Collaborate on clinic-specific growth strategies, balancing member acquisition and retention.

Doctor Hiring & Engagement
  • Build a culture of pipeline building and reputation management at the clinic and regional level.
  • Ensure clinic teams are engaged in recruiting and sourcing strategies, inclusive of relief doctors.
  • Actively source doctor candidates and ensure high quality sourcing and candidate experience.
  • Ensure effective doctor onboarding into clinics, inclusive of relief doctors.

What You'll Bring
  • 5+ years of leadership experience, preferably in the veterinary industry, with multisite management experience.
  • Proven ability to lead through change and inspire teams in a growth-focused environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
  • A commitment to being in the field 90% of the time, with flexibility to travel and support teams on nights and weekends as needed.
